Looing for Program Associate
Springpoint is national organization based at the National Center for Civic Innovation in New York City. We are driven by a commitment to improve secondary school outcomes for young people nationally. Springpoint serves as a school design support hub, leading partner district and network teams through a design process to launch innovative new high schools based on design principles and aligned to the rigor of the Common Core.
The Program Associate will work cross-functionally to support the development of robust, engaging learning experiences and tools for Springpoint's partners as they design new, innovative high schools across the country. The Program Associate will be highly organized with exceptional communication, writing, project management, and problem-solving skills. This is a multifaceted position requiring initiative, adaptability, excellent follow-through, and a keen eye for detail.
Work with staff to develop a variety of content and knowledge assets, including PowerPoint presentations and/or Prezis, process templates, toolkits, newsletters and other learning materials
Assist in planning and development of adult learning experiences, including webinars, trainings and meetings
Manage online social collaboration platform, developing engagement strategies for and collegial relationships with Springpoint's network of school design teams
Develop and manage network support program calendars, including events, site visits, meetings, cohort learning experiences, and school visits
Organize and maintain records and activity reports, logging relevant information into Salesforce database
Collaborate with the Springpoint team on a variety of other projects
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
At least 3-5 years of work experience
Impeccable writing skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated experience developing learning materials and engaging presentations, including research and writing
Familiarity with or work experience in the public education system, education technology, next generation learning, and/or nonprofit organizations is essential
Experience using a variety of digital tools, new technologies and platforms
Experience managing complex projects and using project management tools
The ideal candidate will be a team player, quick learner and a flexible collaborator– this is a new position in a newly launched organization, and the role will require a strong commitment to adjusting and refining as Springpoint grows.
This position will require regular and overnight travel by multiple means of transportation within the United States. Salary based on experience. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.
