LOGISTIC & SUPPLY CHAIN DIRECTOR
Strategically plans, develops and directs all aspects of the supply chain process including policies, processes, objectives and initiatives to ensure material needs are met efficiently, timely and cost effectively throughout the order fulfillment process
Plans the procurement, control and logistics/ distribution of materials and products to meet company objectives and customer requirements
Oversees Bill of Materials and Part Number creation
Oversees the development of suppliers and the sourcing process to ensure optimization to meet price, quality and delivery objectives
Oversees Purchasing activities
Develop internal processes to monitor quality and drive corrective actions to improve delivery and the quality of suppliers
Establishes and maintains supplier partnerships worldwide in support of business strategies and quality standards to ensure that all materials meet the required company objectives
Develop plan for evaluating, approving and negotiating with vendors
Develops methodologies and system solutions designed to prevent materials shortages
Responsible for the accuracy of inventory associated with all warehouse locations
Ensures compliance with ISO requirements related to the purchasing, inventory control functions.
Participates in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to effect streamlined methodologies and determine cost reduction opportunities
Communicates effectively and continuously, aligning employees with organizational goals and develops employees through guidance and training
Identifies and communicates training requirements for all subordinate staff, coordinates training with human resources and evaluates post-training effectiveness
Initiates personnel actions, such as hiring requisitions, promotions, transfers, discharges, or disciplinary measures
Ensures that all subordinate metrics and measurements are being met and performance is continually improving and ensures communication, understanding and support of company objectives
Develop and report key business performance indicators as member of management team.
Develop reports and analyze data for Operation Manager
Manage the maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all business systems (hardware/software)
Participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures including those for architecture, security, standards, purchasing and service provision.
Negotiate and administer vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and services agreements
Plan design, coordinate and manage the execution of application software projects that support the business goals
Bachelors Degree in a related field or significant experience in a relevant field.

In-depth knowledge of purchasing, production planning, logistics and inventory control/planning.
Demonstrated success with implementing logistics/materials methodologies.
Advanced problem solving skills.
Strong ERP/MRP knowledge
