The Technical Writing Manger is responsible for the delivery on quality, time and budget of the translation needs in the region. The Technical Writing manager is responsible a team of Technical translators and managing the overall vendor relationships.
Critical Experiences and skills:
Set ups processes and standards for all translator work in the region
Manages a team of translators, responsible for all HR processes (from hiring to retiring)
Responsible for managing vendors, meeting budget targets
Creates and manages relationships with internal customers to meet their demands in a proactive manner
More than 8 years of communications/translation experience
Proven writing ability and experience, to manage a domain (translation)
Experience managing teams and budgets as required per position
Proven experience of delivering excellent, on-time results, and generating clear reports of those results
Experience in leading processes and working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment
Experience managing vendors as required per position
Degree or equivalent experience linguists, communications, engineering, law, computer science, etc.
