General Manager Amber Cove
The general manager is responsible for the overall operation and administration of the amber cove cruise center and all its facilities in Bahia de Maimom and meeting its goals and objectives. Provide direction and support to all personnel on location.
Ensure that the facility maintains high level of public health and safety, profitability and quality experience acceptable to management.
Reports to the director port development of global port and destination development for Carnival Corporation based in Miami.
Prior multiyear cruise line experience including onboard and or management roles at large scale hotel resort properties.
Undergraduate college degree or equivalent experience required.
Experience and strong knowledge of cruise line industry and maritime operations
Operational management experience
Familiarity with public health and safety experience
Budgeting and financial management, including the ability to interpret and analyze financial reports
Familiarity with retail operations and property management.
History of project management, leadership and management.
Strong sense of ethics and integrity in business
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical decision making acumen
Experience working with governmental entities and agencies at all levels
Experience working in a large corporate environment
Ability to recognize potential areas of risk and to make recommendations to rectify.
Strategic thinking as well as well organized, detail oriented and accurate
Fully bilingual English Spanish
