basic function of position
The incumbent carry out skilled maintenance and repair work to the facilities mechanical and
Plumbing system throughout the embassy compound, grounds and residential owned/leased
Property. Receives written or verbal request for maintenance services and ascertains all of the

qualifications required

1. Completion of secondary school and technical training in a field related to power
Generating plants or related electrical equipment are required.

2. Three years of experience as a repair mechanic or maintenance technician working
Plumbing systems in an institutional or commercial building setting are required.

3. English level III (good working knowledge) (speaking/reading/writing); Spanish level III
(Good working knowledge) (speaking/reading/writing) are required.

4. Knowledge of international building, mechanical and plumbing codes, building systems

6. Computer and numerical skills. Valid Dominican driver’s license category 2 are required.
